Tamsen Wojtanowski is an artist living and working in Philadelphia, PA. In her practice, she explores the materiality and malleability of the photographic medium. Interested in where the medium might overlap with drawing, painting, and printmaking, the resulting work oscillates between the abstract and the representational. While her work is often made from a place rooted in narrative autobiography, universal themes include the human struggle and celebration found in otherness, motherhood, and nature.
Tamsen’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally.
